SolarPro Connect is a working brand for a proposed independent, Haitian-led, nongovernmental solar professional network. This page is the software's working statement of the mission. It is not an official document until the owner adopts it, and the network is not a government body, a licensing authority or an accrediting authority.
Strengthen Haiti's solar workforce through professional visibility, practical education, documented experience, technical resources, employment, business opportunities and accountable professional relationships.
A mission page does not achieve anything by itself. For each objective this lists what actually exists, and what does not. Software alone does not create verified competence, institutional recognition or safer installations.
1. Organize an inclusive professional solar network with voluntary membership and shared rules.
Partly supported Invitation-based membership with sponsor reference and owner review; published conduct rules once the owner adopts them. Policies
Limit: Admission is invitation-based, so inclusion depends on who invites whom. Anyone can ask for an introduction through the owner; that route is not automated.
2. Establish a credible professional registry with clearly differentiated evidence and review statuses.
Software support exists A public registry of members who chose to be listed, with self-declared and authenticated qualifications shown differently. Registry
Limit: A listing is not a certification. The owner authenticates a qualification only by looking at it, and records how.
3. Recognize and document actual project experience and each member's specific contribution.
Software support exists Private project records with the member's actual role, contributors who accept or decline, and an optional public portfolio summary the owner reviews. My projects
Limit: Records are the members' own statements. The software does not verify that work was done or done well.
4. Facilitate employment, customer service requests, business opportunities and apprenticeships.
Software support exists Postings for jobs, services, training, apprenticeships and partnerships, with private responses and moderation. Opportunities
Limit: No employment outcome is promised or tracked, and employers and pay are not checked.
5. Develop technical competence and continuing professional learning.
Partly supported Courses with lessons, quizzes and assignments, and completion records. Courses
Limit: A completion record is progress in this software. It is not a certificate, a licence or an assessment of competence.
6. Deliver the founder's education and develop useful mentorship and practical learning pathways.
Partly supported The course tools exist and instructors can be granted rights. Courses
Limit: No real founder course is loaded; only a clearly labelled sample course exists. Mentorship matching is not built.
7. Promote better installation quality through documentation, qualified review and progressively developed inspection services.
Partly supported Field worksheets keep documents and test records; quality cases route a documentation review or credential review to an authorized reviewer. Field worksheets
Limit: A case records a concern and a reasoned decision; it is not by itself an inspection or an approval of an installation.
8. Preserve owner-authorized installation, equipment, commissioning and maintenance records.
Software support exists Owner work authorization forms, equipment registers, commissioning and maintenance logs, linked to projects. Resources
Limit: An online form is not a signature. Backups and long-term retention are the owner's to arrange.
9. Improve consumer information and provide fair correction, complaint and accountability processes.
Software support exists Cases with private filing, the right to reply, independent reviewers, written reasons, and an appeal. Cases
Limit: Reviewers are only as expert as the owner's authorization. The software cannot force a remedy, hide a listing or suspend anyone as the result of a case.
10. Strengthen Haitian solar enterprises through visibility, professional administration and opportunity access.
Partly supported Registry visibility, opportunity postings and the equipment marketplace. Marketplace
Limit: A company-specific profile and business administration tools are not built.
11. Support practical technical cooperation while preserving Haitian leadership.
Not something software can do Project contributors and private messages support cooperation between members.
Limit: Leadership and ownership are matters for the organization's own governance, not for software.
12. Generate appropriate aggregated information about workforce, learning and service needs.
Partly supported The owner has an aggregate report with small-group protection that excludes test accounts and sample content. Policies
Limit: Reports describe this site's members only. They are not a census of Haiti's solar workforce, and nothing is published publicly yet.
13. Create accessible professional pathways across relevant regions and experience levels.
Partly supported Department filters in the registry, marketplace and opportunities; apprenticeships as a posting kind. Opportunities
Limit: The interface offers English and French. Haitian Creole is not yet available; member-written content remains in its original language.
14. Support financial sustainability through transparent, useful services and responsibly designed commercial activity.
Not built Payment features remain disabled for real use.
Limit: Commission, reserve, refunds and a ledger are not built. Real money movement is not enabled on the site.
The owner has not yet published any founding principles or conduct rules. Until then, nothing here is an adopted rule of the network.
